Mr. Isam Salfiti has been the Chairman of Bank al Etihad since June, 1997 to date. This period comes parallel to his responsibility as a general Manager for the bank as well from July, 1989 – July, 2008.
His hard working and visionary thinking gives him the ability to find a new horizon for stock trades, in Feb, 2006 he opens a subsidiary company called “Etihad Brokerage.”
Despite of his huge responsibility as a successful chairman for the bank, he plays his roles professionally as the Head of the Management Committee, as well as Corporate Governance Committee, Risk Management Committee and Compliance Committee.
He received his B.A degree in Economics in 1967.
On the other hand of his role at the bank, he was a deputy general manager for Arab Financial Corporation (Jordan) from Oct, 1985 till June, 1989.
