Bank al Etihad has recently participated in the 33rd UMEMPS Congress and the 13th Congress of the Jordanian pediatric society; the annual Middle-Eastern Mediterranean Pediatric Congress that took place from the 4th to the 7th of May at the Land Mark Hotel in Amman. The event was organized by Jordan Pediatric Society (JPS), along with the Union of Middle-Eastern and Mediterranean Pediatrics Societies (UMEMPS), in collaboration with the Pan Arab Pediatric infectious diseases society, the Pan Arab Neonatology forum, and the Pan Arab Gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition society, under the slogan “For Better Health for Mediterranean Children”.
Highlighting the Bank’s participation in the UMEMPS Congress, HE Mrs. Nadia Al Saeed; The General Manager of Bank al Etihad stated: “Bank al Etihad is delighted to participate in such a unique congress that is held to support the medical sector in healing the children and taking care of their health. This participation comes from our belief in the importance of public-private partnership and our responsibility to maintain the medical progress in Jordan.”
The Congress was attended by 1000 doctors from Jordan and abroad who came together to address various topics from different pediatrics fields, as an aim to share experiences and promote cooperation among pediatricians. These topics included infectious Diseases, Gastrointestinal Diseases, Neonatology, and Cardiology, among a number of other related topics. In addition, the Congress highlighted the importance of understanding Critical Care and Child Rights.
