A Warmer Winter with Careem and Naua

As we face one of the coldest winter seasons, our thoughts turn to underprivileged individuals struggling to cope with harsh weather conditions. For this reason, we, Careem and Naua – a Crown Prince Foundation initiative – joined efforts to help bring warmth and joy to the hearts of many children in Al Baqa’a Camp through the ‘For a Warmer Winter Campaign’. We have always believed in the power of unity; which is why we teamed up with entities from different sectors with whom we share our vision for corporate social responsibility in order to maximize the positive impact that we can have on local communities, especially those living in difficult situations.

With the support of Naua, which linked us with Hands-on-Hope – a charity association providing humanitarian support to families facing poverty – we were able to secure and deliver winter jackets to children through a group of devoted volunteers. Our Campaign gave Careem riders the chance to give back by entering the promo code ‘Jacket’, and for every such trip, a jacket was donated for this worthy cause.

Changing the realities of disadvantaged communities and alleviating their burdens can be made possible by coming together. ‘For a Warmer Winter Campaign’ is the perfect example of our belief in partnerships that can expand the reach of an impact, as well as inspire the spirit of giving and sense of responsibility towards others. We look forward to many more initiatives in the future!
