Multi-Currency Prepaid Card
Carry the world's currencies in your pocket!
The multi-currency prepaid card is a virtual card that can be issued seamlessly through the Bank al Etihad app. This card puts the world’s currencies in your pocket and lets you shop online like a local from any foreign website without the need to pay any extra foreign exchange fees every time you make a purchase.
Create a Card
Step 1 of 10
From the Home screen tap "Cards"
You will be directed to view all your cards with a list of control features you can choose from.
Step 2 of 10
Swipe to “Add a new card”
All your cards will show, keep swiping until you reach the “new card” screen where you can tap on either “Virtual prepaid multi-currency” or tap on “add new card +” then on “Virtual prepaid multi-currency.”

Tap on “Get card for JOD 10/ year”
You will be redirected to a screen to fill out the card’s information.

Fill basic information
Filling out the “card name” and “card phone number” are optional. Tap on “Continue” and you will be redirected to add the currencies you want to use.

Add currencies
Select the currencies you would like to use from the list (you can pick multiple currencies) and tap on “Continue”
Step 6 of 10
Continue with “Fees Payment”
Select the account you want to deduct the fees from and then agree on the terms and conditions by tapping “Continue”

Top up card
In this screen you can top-up any of the currencies by choosing currency and tapping “Continue,” please note that you can skip this step and you can top-up your multi-currency card when you need to use it

Select payment account
Select the account you want to top-up your multi-currency card from.

Top up currency
Enter the amount and tap on “Continue,” you will be redirected to the top up screen. Tap “Continue” if you are done with the top up

Success Screen
Your multi-currency card is now created!
Print a Card
Step 1 of 6
Tap on “Cards” at the top of the main screen
Swipe the cards to the right until you reach the Multicurrency card you would like to print.

Tap on “Print Card”
You will be redirected to the terms conditions.
Step 3 of 6
Read the terms and conditions and accept them
Make sure you read and understand the terms and conditions carefully before checking the box on the right that says “ I agree to the terms and conditions”. Tap on “Continue” to move to the PIN code screen.

Enter a PIN code for your card to use at the ATM and then tap “Continue”
You will be redirected to the “Payment” screen to select the account to pay the printing fees from.

Select the account you want to pay with and then tap “Order now”.
You will be redirected to the “Success” screen.

Success!
Tap on “Continue” and your card will be delivered in 1 week.
Terminate a Card
Step 1 of 4
Tap on “Cards” at the top of the main screen
Swipe the cards to the right until you reach the Multi-currency card you would like to terminate and tap on “Terminate Card”.
Step 2 of 4
Make sure the balance of the card is zero
You will see a pop-up warning you if there is money in the card. Tap on "Got it" and you’ll be redirected to the terms and conditions page.

Read and approve the terms and conditions
Make sure you carefully read and understand the terms and conditions before ticking the box on the right saying “I agree to the terms and conditions”. Tap on “Continue” to move to the next screen to complete the process.

Success!
Tap "Continue" and your card is now terminated.
