Salary in advance:

Need access to your salary before payday? Our salary in advance feature allows you to request up to 90% of your salary in advance through our app. This convenient service helps you manage unexpected expenses without waiting for payday

Here's what you should know:

  • The salary advance will only be deposited in JOD
  • You will need to start using the salary advance within the timeframe specified on the app when requesting
  • You can request up to 90% of your salary in advance, with a maximum limit of 1,000 JOD
  • The amount requested as a salary advance will be automatically deducted when funds are in your account
  • While no service fees apply, interest applies to the salary advance amount
  • This feature is only available if your salary has been deposited into your account at least 3 times in the last 90 days
  • This feature does not renew automatically
  • Terms and conditions apply

Eligibility:

  • Full-time job at a registered company or organization

Salary vs. Current Account

A salary account is designed to fit the needs of every employee, with zero fees and no minimum balance you won’t have to worry about maintaining a certain amount of money in your account to avoid any penalties. A current account is for day-to-day transactions and anyone looking to write off checks by issuing a checkbook.

Managing my account:

Take control of your finances and manage your salary account by using the Bank al Etihad mobile app, where you can open other types of sub-accounts, settle monthly payments, bills, freeze your cards, analyse and categorise your spending. You can also enable your card for online purchases and set daily spending limits.
