Standing with our community

As part of Bassmet al Etihad, we launched the “Nsid w Nisnid” initiative because we believe real impact starts with listening to people, understanding what they need, and showing up when support matters most.

The first phase of the initiative took place around Eid al-Adha, with Bank al Etihad volunteers settling debts for families at grocery stores, bakeries, and pharmacies in Amman and several governorates. The aim was to ease some of the pressure families face in meeting their everyday needs.

Along the way, we heard many stories that reminded us how even the smallest gesture can make a real difference in the lives of others.

And among the many needs we came across, one thing became clear:

some needs can wait, but people’s health can't.

That is why “Nsid w Nisnid” is now moving into its second phase, focusing on settling people's debts at pharmacies across the Kingdom. This will help individuals and families access the treatment they need, without delay or added financial burden.

“Nsid w Nisnid” is an ongoing commitment from Bassmet al Etihad to stand with people during difficult times, because we believe this is responsibility at its most human and its most meaningful.
